What kind of weather can we expect in Dubai in December?
December is one of the most pleasant times to visit Dubai – perfect for a celebration! During the day, you can expect warm, sunny weather around 26 °C (79 °F), while the evenings are cooler, with temperatures dipping to around 15–16 °C (59–61 °F).
Rain is rare, and there's usually plenty of sunshine, so outdoor events are very much on the cards. That said, we recommend bringing a light jacket or shawl for the evenings, as it can get a little chilly after sunset.
Is there a dress code?
Yes, there is! Please take a look at the "Dress Code" tab above for details. We’d love it if you could make every effort to follow the suggested attire—it really helps set the tone for each celebration.
What hotel would you recommend?
We highly recommend booking at Palazzo Versace as this is where the pre-wedding events will be held, and where the families will be based. There are, however, a number of very nice hotels within a few minutes drive. We'd recommend staying nearby to avoid the notorious Dubai peak-hour traffic.
We're staying at the Versace - how do we get there?
Since guests will be arriving on different dates and at various times, we recommend using Uber or one of the many readily available Dubai taxis, which can be easily hailed at the airport. The journey is quick and convenient - Palazzo Versace Dubai is just 5–10 minutes away from Dubai International Airport, located just across the Dubai Creek.
We're arriving a day early, on the 17th. Are there any events booked for that day?
No events are scheduled for the 17th, as guests will be flying in from all over the world, checking in at different times. We've intentionally kept this day free so everyone can rest, recover from any jet lag, and ease into the celebrations the next day.
If you're up for a bit of exploring, Dubai Festival City Mall is just 5 minutes from Palazzo Versace and offers a great mix of shops and restaurants.
How do we get to the events?
Transport will be provided to and from Palazzo Versace for the events taking place on 19th December – these are the only two events hosted offsite.
Please note that timing in Dubai is very strict, especially for the wedding ceremony (Anand Karaj), which must begin promptly. To ensure everything runs smoothly, we kindly ask all guests to be ready and at the designated departure point on time.
Guests who miss the scheduled transport will need to make their own way to the venue.
